Can we please get votemap fixed or RTV put back on in Gungame?

This has been brought up before. It takes a minimum of 4 people to change the map. If you have less then 4, you are pretty much hosed. If there is a couple AFK's, your hosed. Right now, we had 7-8 people on and 3ish AFK's and we couldn't votemap so everyone left.

Since there are no bots it is hard to get the server populated from 0 people already but then they all leave when they get to a map that we cant change.

ok this is the last go around of the take it off put it back im ever going to do. im going to put it back on and the next time someone comes to me saying RTV is ruining the server im going to flat out tell them and anyone else to fuck off.

lol well.... technically I think only one made the complaint that got the recent change (dont remember everything that was said in the thread).... O_o then before that it was someone complaining about playing the same maps over and over and over and over and over and.... yea you get the point... I think we suggested getting rid of nominate in that one so people couldnt just keep nominating the same maps over and over again.... just saying....

and sorry sio, I know we are more trouble than we are worth :P

the server could run good with everything if you get the admins to be strict.

Removing nominate could be a good option, but we all know the regs will about that. In my opinion, we just got the server back in the flow. Maybe we should at least give it some time to get back to 100% like back when my admin reserve slot actually had meaning, before making changes we know will empty the server.

Sajora makes a pretty good point too. Most gg admins that are left are main admins on other servers. Freebase is the only gg exclusive admin i believe.

as much a i agree with smurf and would love to see that implemented, i think dot's right. we're still trying to get it populated frequently, so leave the nominate and rtv as is for now. i'm an admin for gg and have no problem popping in if they need an admin and usually play in there an hour or so most days. once we get it fairly populated all the time we can worry about nominate.

hmm well with the maps thing, i've heard from people in the server that the server is "Gun Game Old-School" with not that many older maps..but yes rtv with nominate for now is good =]
